About This Book This book is a tribute to Volodymyr (Sabodan), the recently deceased Metropolitan and Head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the years 1992 to 2014. This is the tribute to a simple and wise man, friend, mentor, citizen and servant of God.
The collection includes both poems written by the Metropolitan himself and poems by his favorite poets, i. a. A. Solodovnikov, M. Lermontov, M. Voloshyn. Althouth many works by Metropolitan Volodymyr have been already published uncontrollably under different pseudonyms, this book gathers them altogether under his own name for the first time.
